Flagstaff Jazz is based on vocals and bass. It is singers Angèle Thijs and Andy Brand; Jürg Freudiger is on bass.

Flagstaff Jazz plays mainstream jazz standards, own versions of some pop tunes, some soul and blues.

Angèle and Andy sing in so called "Close Harmony" technique and cultivate the old art of scat-improvisation. Sometimes Jürg is screaming along with them. Otherwise he keeps the engine running at the basses (double bass, 5-string Ibanez Soundgear, '72 Fender Jazz Bass, acoustic Ibanez AEB 10E) and, every now and then, on guitar ('54 Gibson ES 175).

It's great fun performing together - and that's just one of these things...
